5 Days Private Tour of Xiamen & Mount Wuyi

In the morning, our experienced guide will meet you outside the customs of Xiamen Airport. After a warm greeting, we will escort you to your hotel. After settling in, we will set out on this 5-day private tour to Xiamen & Mount Wuyi with a stroll along the bustling Zhongshan Road. Along the way, you may taste local specialties and maybe find some desirable souvenirs.

Should time permit, we will go to the traditional fish market to experience the street life of the local people. Then, we will take you back to the hotel.

After breakfast, we'll head for Shuzhuang Garden in south of Gulangyu Island, an essential of a Xiamen vacation package tour. This seaside garden, once a private villa, retains attractive rockeries, water features and distinctive buildings. Then, you will be guided to the two-floor Piano Museum to see a fine collection of antique pianos. Afterwards, we will take you to the Hi-heaven, which consists of five beautiful villas combining both Chinese and Western architectural styles. Here you will also enjoy a remarkable Puppet Show & Nanyin Music Show.

After that, we will transfer you to the South Putuo Temple situated in downtown Xiamen. It is a famed Buddhist resort with delicate and chromatic carvings on the elaborate architectures' roofs. Later, we will go to the Island Ring Road to appreciate the spectacular coastal scenery and stunning seascape along the endless coastline. Wandering leisurely in an idyllic fishing village - Zengcuo'an Village will be the last activity of today's private Xiamen tour, and then we will send you back to the hotel.

In the morning, we will drive for about 3 hours to Hongkeng Earth Building Folk Cultural Village in Yongding County. In the village surrounded by mountains and rivers, you will see varied quadrate and rounded Hakka Tulous that Hongkeng is famous for. Our guide will lead you to view the palatial Zhencheng Building, imposing Kuiju Building as well as the compact but splendid round Rusheng Building.

Today's private Xiamen tour will end here. After that, we will take a three-hour drive back to the hotel in downtown Xiamen.

After breakfast, take all your belongings to check out of the hotel, and then you will be transferred to the railway station to catch the high-speed train to Wuyishan. After a 3 to 3.5-hour train journey, you will meet the local guide and driver at the exit and be picked up to the hotel.

In the afternoon, our guide will accompany you to the Dahongpao Scenic Area, a must-see for a Mount Wuyi tour. You can see the highly prized Dahongpao Tea Trees growing on the sheer hillside. En route, you can also admire the wonderful vistas of hilly mountains and clear sparkling streams. Next you will be escorted to the Xiamei Ancient Village - a well-known historical and cultural village comprising abundant characteristic buildings that show much of the architectural styles of Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 - 1911). Later, we will send you back to the hotel.

This morning, we will set out to tour the enchanting natural scenery and rich cultural heritage of Heavenly Tour Peak (Tianyou Peak) of Mount Wuyi. After that, a cruise along the picturesque Nine-bend River (Jiuqu Stream) by unique bamboo raft will be arranged for you. Later, we will guide you to the Wuyi Palace, the oldest Taoist temple within Mount Wuyi Scenic Area.

Your 5 days private Xiamen & Mount Wuyi tour will come to an end. Our guide and driver will escort you to Wuyishan Airport or the railway station and see you off.
