Qingdao Private Day Trip

In the morning, you will be greeted by our experienced guide and driver at your hotel lobby. Then, we will transfer you to Mt. Laoshan by a comfortable drive.

As the first stop of this 1-day private Qingdao local tour, Mt. Laoshan contains two must-see spots, Longtan Waterfall and Taiqing Palace. Seen from a distance, the spectacular Longtan Waterfall drops into a deep pool from the perpendicular cliffs like a huge white dragon - full of robustness and vigorousness. Located in the east Qingdao, the scenic Mt. Laoshan is close to the verge of the broad Yellow Sea. Due to the enchanting views composed of imposing hills, rippling water as well as shady greeneries, it earns a good reputation as "the most renowned mountain against the sea in China". Upon arrival, you will transfer to an eco-car to reach Bashuihe station, and then have a 40-minute hiking uphill to view the Longtan Waterfall at a height of 30 meters (100 feet) and a breadth of 5 meters (16 feet).

Then you will pay a visit to the large-scale and historical Taoist temple - Taiqing Palace. With over 2,000 years history, Taiqing Palace is the largest scenic spot within Mt. Laoshan, occupying an area of 30,000 square meters (about 36,000 square yards) and housing 150 rooms in total. After that, we will drive back to Qingdao.

In the afternoon, continue the trip to Qingdao Beer Museum. The beautiful coastal Qingdao is not only famous for its fascinating natural landscape, but also known for the popular Tsingtao Beer. Built in 1903, Qingdao Beer Museum is a world-class museum themed of beer and is the only beer museum in China. There, many detailed presentations with text and graphics along with more than 100-year-old German equipments are waiting to tell you about the culture and history of Tsingtao Beer. You can also have a taste of draught beer and watch the brewing process. During the visit, you would get to know the development history of the famous Tsingtao Beer at Hall A, visit the advanced beer production line at Hall B, and taste the authentic Tsingtao Beer at Hall C.
