This tour including Beijing Zoo, Beijing Aquarium, Beijing Planetarium, Paleozoological Museum of China and China Science and Technology Museum is very suitable for a family vacation. The kids will learn a lot while having fun.

Stop 1: Beijing Zoo
Beijing Zoo
Having a close contact with lovely giant pandas must be the dream of most visitors to China, especially children. In the capital of China, Beijing Zoo is the best place to see this lovely creature. Besides, there are more than 500 species of rare animals from both China and other countries in the world, such as golden monkeys, Siberian tigers, chimpanzees, and saltwater crocodiles.

By subway: Subway line 4 has a station close by, named Dongwuyuan (Zoo). After arriving, leave from Exit B or C1 and you will find the entrance to the zoo immediately.
By bus: Take bus 27, 87, 105, 107, 111, 129 (Te 19), 305, 332, 347, 360, 362, 534, 563, 604, 632 to the Dongwuyuan stop; walk east for a few meters to find the entrance on the north side of the road. Or take bus 7, 15, 16, 19, 56, 65, 102, 103, 334, 695 to the bus stop Dongwuyuan Shuniuzhan (Zoo Terminal), which is just opposite the zoo entrance.

How to Get to Beijing Zoo by Public Transport
The day before the tour, our guide will contact you to confirm the address of your hotel and the pick-up time. At the scheduled time today, he or she will wait for you at the hotel lobby and then accompany you to the Beijing Zoo. Beijing Aquarium is in the northeast corner of the Beijing Zoo. After visiting Beijing Zoo, the guide will escort you there on foot. Inside, you’ll encounter colorful tropical fish, sea animals, arctic animals, as well as Chinese sturgeons. You can also enjoy brilliant shows performed by dolphins, sea lions, and seals in the last hall.

Stop 3: Beijing Planetarium
Beijing Planetarium is diagonally across the street from the southern gate of the Beijing Zoo. If you are energetic, the guide will lead you to walk across the Beijing Zoo to reach it. It is about a 1,100-meter-long (1,200 yards) walk. If you do not want to walk that long, the guide will accompany you to get out from the northern gate of Beijing Planetarium, then take bus no. 305 to get there; the bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes.
In Beijing Planetarium, you can get to know the unfamiliar outer space by viewing vivid documentaries as well as 3D and 4D movies. The vast universe is represented in the dome-cinemas, making you feel like standing among shining stars and planets.

The Paleozoological Museum of China houses thousands of precious fossils of ancient animals, such as dinosaurs, mammoths, and Confuciusornis, samples of stone tools used millions of years ago, as well as documentaries dragging you back to that remote age to learn a lively lesson of this mysterious world.

Stop 5: China Science and Technology Museum
China Science and Technology Museum will be today’s last stop. After visiting the Paleozoological Museum, follow the guide to walk for about 650 meters (710 yards) to Erligou Subway Station to take subway line 6 to Nanluo Guxiang, then transfer to line 8 to Olympic Park. After getting out from Exit G, walk for about 700 meters (770 yards) to get there.
It not only displays high-tech products, but also has many programs for kids to learn technologies while having fun. The best exhibitions include space crafts, a Chinese wood pagoda replica, clever robots and Chang’s seismograph.

Return Back to Hotel
When today’s sightseeing draws to an end here, the guide will escort you back to your hotel by subway or bus, based on the real-time traffic conditions and distance to your hotel.

We recommend you to have lunch around the southern gate of Beijing Zoo. You can flexibly enjoy it after visiting the Beijing Aquarium, Beijing Planetarium or Paleozoological Museum of China.
