Safari Trip in Kenya
Tips for Safari:
1. We suggest all travelers get vaccinated against Yellow Fever 15 days before departure, as there may be a risk of transmission in Kenya. And remember to pack some insect repellents to protect from mosquitoes.
2. Choose clothes whose colors are associated with nature, like khaki, green, and brown, as you can hide better to admire animals more closely.
3. For your safety, please avoid getting out of the car without your guide's permission, or leaning out of the window or groveling on the top of the vehicle.

Day 2 Enjoy a Full-day Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve
After a big breakfast, we will spend the whole day on a game drive in this vast expanse of savanna, looking for the African Big Five: lions, buffalo, leopards, rhinos, and elephants. In addition, you can see various species of birds playing at the banks of Mara River, as well as crocodiles and hippos. At noon, packed lunch boxes will be provided. After a full-day exhilarating safari, we will return to the camp for dinner.
★ Admire the Biggest Mammal Trek in the World - Great Migration of Wildebeests
From May to June, Tanzania enters the dry season, and millions of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes migrate from Serengeti and cross the Mara River to Masai Mara to find the new grassland. During this period, you can witness the vast army of herbivores marching on the endless savanna. En route, these migrators need to be on alert for predators such as lions and leopards and elude crocodiles lurking in the river. If lucky, you can encounter a battle between these Masai Mara killers and wildebeests. To escape from most of the danger, the intelligent zebras always serve as the pioneers of the procession. They can lead wildebeests to find a safe point to cross the river and survive from their enemies.
► Note: The Mara River crossing of the wildebeests is the climax of the Great Migration, but it needs some luck to witness this thrilling scene, as we cannot control the pace and time of wildebeests’ migration. Guides in Masai Mara will share information about the crossing with each other, and our experienced guide will drive you to the river bank at once and occupy the best place, which can increase the chance for you to see the spectacular scene.
★ Our Strengths on Masai Mara Safaris:
1. 4×4 Pop-up Top Land Cruiser: Our vehicle offers a shelter safari experience. Its closed body with openable windows and roof can not only protect you from sunshine and dust but is convenient and safe for admiring animals. Compared to the minivan provided by some other operators, it’s more spacious and comfy. In addition, it can withstand the rigors of muddy roads and reach the top of steep slopes.
2. Accommodations: The hotel we booked for you is near the Mara River and very close to the zone where animals are active. So, it will leave you more time to explore the savanna. In addition, you can hear the roars of hippos and encounter small herds of wildebeests crossing the river near the camp.
3. We will provide you with an experienced guide and arrange an extended stay of up to 3 days in Masai Mara, which will increase the chance for you to see the spectacular migration.

Day 3 Another Full-day Masai Mara Game Drive
The third day will be scheduled for an early morning and a late afternoon game drives. We will set off early to admire sunrise over the savanna and find carnivores, such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs who are most active and are preparing to hunt. Besides, you can see large groups of elephants ambling across the beautiful savanna. As the sun rises higher, it will be scorching, and animals will nap in the shade. We will return to the lodge for lunch and take a short break.
When it is cooler, animals will wake up and roam on the grassland again. We will continue to enjoy an afternoon game drive then. It is the best time to spot the Big Five by the Mara River, where they will come for water. You can also encounter crocodiles taking sun baths on the shore and see zebras, baboons, giraffes, coyotes, warthogs, ostriches, and many other animals and birds. Get your camera ready, and you will not want to miss the stunning sunset of Masai Mara. Try to capture the silhouettes of acacia trees and animals together, which are regarded as the classic image of Africa.
