This is a picturesque village with thatched roofs and a set of ponds, making you feel like getting into an animation world. Hakone is the best onsen town around Mt. Fuji, providing both great views of the mountain and unforgettable onsen bathing experience. In Owakudani Valley in Hakone, one can see steaming hot springs with sulfurous vapor. If you stay in Tokyo, Tokyo Skytree, Mori Tower, or Tokyo Tower are perfect places to look Mt. Fuji in a distance.
