Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, the world cultural heritage on sea, is the must-see in Hiroshima. Also, Mt. Misen is a great destination to see old temples, appreciate dense forest, and overlook Seto Inland Sea as well as Itsukushima-jinja Shrine. Miyajima Ropeway can take tourists up to Mt. Misen where one can observe the heritage on high. Museum of Contemporary Art is an interesting place to learn local culture if you are an art lover.
