Xi'an Metro Line 8

Xi’an Metro Line 8 is the only loop line with a total length of about 50km (31mi), passing through Yanta, Xincheng, Baqiao, Weiyang and Lianhu District with 37 underground stations and of which 18 are transfer stations. It has started its service since Dec. 26, 2024.

Xi’an Metro Line 8 is a true Ancient Tang Dynasty Capital Line for it encircles the Chang’an City of Tang and runs around wall gates such as Yanping Gate and Kaiyuan Gate, as well as history-themed scenic spots such as the Great Tang All Day Mall, , and the Cool Cave, making it a historical and cultural line. Xi'an Public Library & TV Tower: Line 2
