How to Travel From Xi’an Airport to City Center
How far is Xi’an Airport from city center? Xi’an Xianyang Airport is located about 50 kilometers (30 miles) northwest from downtown area. It is very convenient to travel from Xi’an Airport to city by metro, airport shuttle bus, and taxi. Vice versa, it is also easy for people to travel from Xi’an city to airport via those public transportation.

I have a 8:25 flight at Xi'an Airport. I believe I need to arrive 2 hours before my flight. What is the best way to get from the Bell Tower to the airport? I believe there are shuttle buses nearby. Do the buses operate early enough to get to the airport by 6:30? Does the metro and train line operate early enough to get to the airport by 6:30?

00ReplySorry to tell you that the shuttle bus from Bell tower to the airport is not in service at that time. You can take a taxi at 04:30 to Xi'an Hotel near Xishaomen to catch the shuttle bus there departing at 05:00. It takes 1.5h to the airport.

00ReplyThe airport bus stop at Bell Tower is only 200 meters away from Holiday Inn Express, walk southward and find the hotel on your right hand.
From Exit 3 of Bell Tower Metro station, walk southward for about 150 meters to find the hotel on your right.

00ReplyYes, you can take the Bell Tower Line directly, and the final stop is only about 400m away from your hotel. It takes about 1.5 hours and costs CNY 25.
