Taipei actually has four seasons like any temperate climate. The weather in Taipei Taiwan comes to its climax in July with the temperature of 35 ℃ (95 ℉), but it still feels cool in evenings thanks to the ocean breezes. In the coldest months from December to February, Taipei average temperature remains around 16 ℃ (60.8 ℉).
Spring (March - May)
Taipei temp finally starts rebounding in late March, and from April to May, Taipei city weather gradually transforms from pleasantly warm to slight hot. The average temperature usually ranges between 20-25 ℃ (68-77 ℉) when the flowers in the local parks are in full bloom. At the end of May, the rainy season begins appearing. The Tomb Sweeping Day on April 5th, is celebrated as a public holiday in Taipei and many locals would go south to spend the festival with their families. Therefore, you will find deserted and quiet streets during this time.

Summer (June - August)
Summer season is harsh, extremely hot and humid in Taipei when the temperature can occasionally soar over 35 ℃ (95 ℉). This makes sightseeing a bit of a sticky and sweaty experience. Fortunately, there are many beaches near Taipei. The typhoon season also falls during the period, overflowing with heavy rains and thunderstorms. So it’s always wise to check the Taipei forecast the day before departure. Besides, the beginning of the summer season usually starts with Dragon Boat Festival, on which the dragon boat races would be held and it’s a rather fun time for tourists.

Winter (December - February)
