Can we use the metro from Dalian Medical University to travel to 1st or 2nd affililated hospital? How much time does it take to reach there by metro? Is it underground metro?

To the second affiliated hospital, you can take metro express line to Tahewan, then transfer to line 12 to Hekou, change to line 1 to the hospital. Or you can take bus no 2002 to the two hospitals without any transfer. The lines are underground.

Opening of New Subway lines in Dalian
Hello, I wanted to know if there has been any news of the new lines (1,2,...) being opened to the public? A lot of these should have opened in 2014, is that the case? Also do they plan on opening new lines during 2015?
Thanks in advance!

No, either of the line 1 or line 2 has been put into use. It is reported that the line 1 (first section) is to be in trial operation in June, 2015 and the line 2 will have its trial operation in Apr. 2015. Let's wait and see!
