Is Metro Line # 5 currently operate? If not yet, how to go from Suzhou Railway Station to Taihu?

It's operating. You need to take bus no.3 at South Square of Suzhou Railway Station to Taihu, taking 1.5h.

Somebody told me to take Line#5
to 太湖香山 station EXIT 1 OR 2 rhen change to take bus # 586 and get off at 太湖湖滨国家湿地公园.

I couldnt find 太湖香山 in the station of LINE #5. Could you please advise me?

You mean Pingjiang Rover? You need to take metro line 4 to Leqiao, and then transfer to line 1 to Xiangmen.

Can I buy tickets with coins?

I want to use the Suzhou Metro Line 1 from the Cultural and Expo center to Xinghai Square. Can I buy a ticket using coins at a ticket machine in a normal human manner (as in Shanghai for example)? Or am I forced to use "apps" and cell phones like an android?

Yes, you can take Metro Line 4 from Suzhou Railway Station to Beisita. However, get off the metro, and you need to walk about 1km to the garden.
