Shijiazhuang Metro Line 1

Extending in the east-west direction, the phase one of Shijiazhuang metro line 1 put into trail use in June, 2017. It connects Xiaohedadao and Xiwang with a length of 24 kilometers (15 miles), serving downtown area, High-tech Developmental Zone and Zhengding New District. The metro line 1 also passes the city’s CBD (Central Business District) and major commercial districts, such as Huoju Square, Provincial Stadium & Museum, Ping’an Street and Jiefang Square.

The phase two of Shijiazhuang metro line 1 will extend 14 kilometers (9 miles) from Xiaohedadao to Dongyang, including 8 stations. This section is expected to operate in 2019.
