Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport

Location: Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport is located in Xinchengpu Town of Zhengding County, about 21 miles (34 kilometers) from the downtown area of Shijiazhuang.

Brief Intro: Opened in 1995, Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport has two terminal buildings and now operates flights to over 70 domestic cities including Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Kunming, Hangzhou, Nanning and Xi'an plus international destinations including Bangkok, Cheju, Seoul, Hong Kong, Taipei, Inchon and Busan.
 

Terminal 1 (T1): Covering around 13.5 acres (5.5 hectares), it is the International Terminal Building hosting flights to Korea, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Eight gates are available to receive international flights.

Terminal 2 (T2): The Domestic Terminal Building was built and put into use in 2014. With an area of 38 acres (15.4 hectares), it consists of the main building, corridors and satellite hall. There are two and half floors: The first floor (1F) and the interlayer serve as the Arrival Hall, and the second floor (2F) as the Departure Hall. This terminal hosts 8 gates, 67 check-in counters, 10 self-service check-in machines, 29 boarding gates, 6 transfer desks, and 23 security channels.

 Note: We suggest you arrive at the airport 1.5-2 hours in advance to catch your flight.
 Transfer Counter without Luggage: It is at the interlayer of Terminal 2. Passengers handle related transfer procedures themselves at the counter. Walk to the second floor to reach the boarding gate and wait for the onward flight.

Transfer Counter with Luggage: The counter is on first floor of Terminal 2. Passengers need to collect their luggage on the first floor first and then handle the transfer procedures. Take the escalator to the second floor for the security check. Then move forward to the boarding gate. 

 Notes:
1. Transfer services for Spring Airlines are unavailable at the transfer counters.
2. The VIP waiting area is north of the Restricted Area on the second floor.

 The 144-hour visa-free transit has been carried out in Shijiazhuang Airport since December 28th, 2017.
 

Shuttle buses are available to the Qiaodong District, Western District, Southern District and East Development Area of Shijiazhuang. Long-distance buses to nearby cities such as Xinji, Baoding, Hengshui and Xingtai are scheduled daily.  In addition, passengers can take the free shuttle bus to Zhengding Airport High-speed Railway Station to catch the bullet train.

Baggage Storage Fee: For each piece of luggage less than 40cm length x 20cm width x 55cm height, CNY10 per day; if larger, the fee is CNY20 per day.
Retrieving Lost Items:
1. The owner should give some information before getting back the belongings: item description, the date lost and the place where lost. Then present valid document or proof such as a passport to retrieve it.
2.  If being entrusted by other people to get back belongings, you must present valid proof of the owner as well as the copy of the trustee.

 Battery Charging
More than 1000 sockets are available in Terminal 2. Most of them can be found under the seats in the Waiting Hall and the corners of the Check-in Hall. Passengers can recharge their cellphones, cameras, laptops and other electronic products.
