Guilin Weather in October

Guilin enters its gold autumn period in October when the weather is cool and very pleasant, with occasional light showers or drizzles. The temperature is around 24°C (75°F) during daytime or even higher on a sunny day, and may drop to 18°C (64°F) or even lower at night. The wind becomes stronger and stronger as the autumn advances.

What to Wear in Guilin in October

Especially in early and middle October in Guilin, it's advisable to wear long-sleeved shirts plus jeans or sweat pants during daytime, adding a light overcoat or waistcoat in the morning and evening. Hello, I'll fly to Guilin in 2nd week of October, can you suggest how the weather would be?

Now it's still high 20s, would it drop to low 20s by the time I got there?
Lastly, is it okay to wear thin leather jacket there?

According to forecast, the temperature may range from 20C to 30C, and there may be some rainy days. And it’s possible to drop under 20C, so you are suggested to take your shirts, jeans and light coat. Of course, thin jacket is okay.

Thanks Vivian, but the weather apps on my phone shows that it's still 27-32C there that's why I'm not sure if it'd drop to low 20 by the time I got there.

Hi, City Comfort Inn is a good choice. It is a chain inn and has a number of branches in the city. Just search online to find one that most meets your demand. Unless your hotel would offer help. Otherwise, I suggest you hire a guide before leaving.
