You should prepare for rain. An umbrella is better, for it can prevent both the rain and the sunlight. You may also take sun glasses and a sun hat with you to have an easier trip during a sunny day. Bring sunscreen with low SPF as well. Mosquito-repellent should also be brought if you plan to walk for a distance along the Li River, on the Longji Rice Terraces, or some other tourist attractions with water, grassland, and trees.
