Dameisha Beach

The best time to visit Yantian District is in winter and early spring from December to March when the temperature is 15-21℃ (59-69.8℉). The climate in Yantian District Shenzhen belongs to the subtropical maritime climate. The temperature is mild, and the sunshine is sufficient. Yantian District Shenzhen is very hot from May to October with an average temperature of 32℃ (89.6℉) and the annual average temperature is 25℃ (77℉). Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport is about 55 km (34.2 mi) from Yantian District Shenzhen. Travelers can take Metro Line 11 and Line 2 and then transfer Bus No.387 to Yantian District. Shenzhen Railway Station is about 15 km (9.3 mi) from Yantian, travelers can take Bus No.205 or No.387 after getting off the train. Taking trains to Shenzhen East Railway Station is another option, and Bus No.308 directly accesses to Yantian District Shenzhen.

Within Yantian District Shenzhen, there is no metro in service, and Metro Line 8 is expected to be operational by the end of 2020. Buses are very convenient and almost extend to all directions. The taxi charges CNY 10 for the first 2 km and CNY 2.6/km for subsequent distance. It may cost CNY 170-180 from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, CNY 40-50 from Shenzhen Railway Station and CNY 50-60 from Shenzhen East Railway Station to Yantian District Shenzhen.
