How far in advance can you buy Shenzhen-HK ferry tickets?

Hello! I will apply for an L tourist visa in order to visit Shenzhen, and need to provide proof of a travel ticket to leave Mainland China. I plan to do that by crossing the border into Hong Kong. It seems that train tickets can only be booked 15 days in advance, so I couldn’t provide the visa authorities with a train ticket as proof.

Is it possible to purchase ferry tickets well in advance? Or perhaps coach tickets might work?

You can buy the ferry ticket 2 months in advance. I'm not sure about the coach tickets, ferry or train tickets is safer.

144 hour shekou port

Hello. Please tell me the opening hours of the office in Shekou port for visa-free 144-hour transit? If I arrive from Hong Kong at 20:00, will I be able to get visa-free transit?

Shekou visa office opening hours: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.
If you plan to stay only in Guangdong and hold a ticket to leave for the third country (HK not included) within 144 hours, then you are able to get it. You need to have the ticket leaving Guangdong in hand when boarding the ferry to Shekou.

Shekou Port for 144 hour transit without Visa

Hi, I use Canada passport. Can I go from Macau -> Shekou Port via ferry, obtain 144 hour visa there, travel to Shenzhen and Guangzhou, then return to Hong Kong via West Kowloon railway? Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can. Shekou Ferry Terminal and West Kowloon are available ports for the 144.

How early should I arrive at the port?

I will take the 7.15AM ferry from Shekou port to HKIA Skypier; what time should I arrive at the Shekou port? Does the check-in process require a lot of time? I have no luggage to load onto the plane cargo.

The ticket checking stops 30min before the departure and the pre-check in for flights stops 45min before, and you need to purchase the ticket 60min before. It won't take long for check-in.

Qatar Airways Flight

Greetings,
My flight from Hong Kong to Doha is scheduled for 7:10 PM. I intended to take the ferry in the morning, allowing me to check in my luggage and arrive at Hong Kong International Airport well in advance. This would also allow me to enjoy some time in Hong Kong before my departure. I would appreciate it if you could inform me whether checking in for a Qatar Airways flight at Shekou is possible. Additionally, I would like to know the recommended time frame for early check-in, thanks

You can check in at Shekou Port. You should finish the ticket purchase 60min before the ferry departure and check in at least 45min before.

Contact your airline and ask them. Not all airlines are able to receive check-in at the Shekou Port. You need to be 100% certain you can do it, or you could have a major hassle.
