Huangpu District Guangzhou is a region with a long history and developed business. It is located in the southeast of Guangzhou China. The south is adjacent to Panyu District, the west is connected to Tianhe District and Baiyun District, and the north is next to Conghua District. Changzhou Island

Located on the eastern edge of Guangzhou, Changzhou Island has a rich heritage, cultural and tourism resources including Whampoa Military Academy, Ancestral Hall of Zong, Zhongshan Park and the Memorial Museum of 1911 Revolution.

Whampoa Military Academy: It had trained a large number of military talents and is of great significance in China's modern history and military history. The buildings have been restored and open to the public including the military school gate, the memorial of Prime Minister Sun and other places. You should pay attention to that it is closed on Monday.

Zhongshan Park: It is located in the Xie Mountain, Guangzhou City. Lush green trees and blooming flowers attract many visitors here. The main attractions include Banshan Pavilion, South Gate Square and Dawang Temple Platform Scenic Area.

South Sea God Temple

With a long history, it is the largest and most complete temple in the four sea god temples in China, also where the emperors offered sacrifices to the sea. Because of the numerous inscriptions, it is praised as “Southern Forest of Steles”. Travelers can visit the magnificent wooden structure hall and view the ancient trees and rare flowers.

Xiangxue Park

It is one of the eight scenic spots in Guangzhou. The plum blooms in December and January are worth seeing. The white petals will fall with the wind, like the snow flies. Travelers can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery here, but also visit the following places of historic interest: Luofeng Temple, Yuyan Academy and Wangmei Pavilion.

Travelers can take a flight to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport then take the Airport Bus Line 4 to Huangpu, taking about 1.5 hours. It is also available to take trains to Guangzhou South Railway Station, and then take Metro line 7 to Higher Education Mega Center South Station, and then take line 4 to Chebeinan Station and take line 5 to Dashadong Station to Huangpu District Guangzhou.

Within the city area, Metro Line 5, 6, 7, 13, 14, 21 are in service now. At the same time, 5 tramcar lines are available. The taxi charges CNY 12 for the first 3 km and CNY 2.6/km for subsequent distance. The taxi charges about CNY100-110 from Guangzhou South Railway Station, and CNY140-150 from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to Huangpu District Guangzhou.

Best Huangpu District Food to Try
