Beijing Subway Line 8

Beijing subway line 8 is a north-south metro line connecting Zhuxinzhuang in the northern Changping District and Yinghai in the southern Daxing District. The first section of subway line 8 has been open since 2008, while the whole line has been completed and put into use by the end of 2021.

Now, it is 51.6 km (32.1 mi) in length, containing 35 stations, and passing through the core area of downtown Beijing, including the Olympic Green area where the National Stadium and the Olympic Forest Park are located, the Hutong tourist areas like Shichahai and Nanluoguxiang, and the central business blocks of Wangfujing and Qianmen.
