Shanxi Great Wall Map

Many dynasties in Chinese history built Great Wall in Shanxi Province. The wall relics can be found in over 40 counties in nine cities in Shanxi Province. The overall length is over 3,500 km (2,145 miles). Shanxi Great Wall was always serving as the barrier to protect Beijing in ancient times.

If I come from Shenzhen, which place is closer to see the great wall?

The most famous sections are located in Beijing like Badaling and Mutianyu. You are suggested to get to Beijing from Shenzhen by air or train first, then change to other public transport to the site.
