Tianjin Happy Valley

Tianjin Happy Valley Amusement Park is located near Dongli Lake in the northeast of the downtown area. It occupies an area of 35 hectares (86 acres), and is divided into six sections, including a Show Center and five theme parks. Nearly 90 wonderful performances are presented in the Show Center every day. Theme parks include Happy Time, Viking Harbor, Christmas Village, Heart of the Sea and Over the Caribbean. The first three are land parks while the last two are water parks. With 56 thrilling rides and activities, Tianjin Happy Valley is a fun and thrill-filled site for both kids and adults.
 Happy Time provides 22 recreation facilities and 11 themed shops. A highly recommended item in Happy Time is the Crazy Bird, the only El-loco roller coaster in Asia. Visitors will move like the wind and dive swiftly in the upper air. Shoot the Chute is an exciting water activity. Going upstream slowly sounds okay but what awaits is crashing through whitewater rapids. Expedition of Volcano is an adventure about escaping to a safe place by a mine train when the volcano erupts.

 To the southeast of Happy Time is Viking Harbor. It features seven facilities such as Aiden Voyage, Large Windmill and Thor’s Hammer. Wind roars by your ear when you have this stimulating experience.
Note: The upper weight limit for Large Windmill players is 75kg.

 The village hides in woods to the northeast of Viking Harbor. Fjord Flying Dragon, a wooden roller coaster as long as 1,200m (1,300 yards), is the highlight of Tianjin Happy Valley. Experiencing weightlessness more than ten times is definitely breathtaking. Astonishingly, the Christmas Tower is a creepy house that has been long abandoned and is only open at Christmas. Visitors may have a quite thrilling experience there.

 Heart of the Sea is an indoor water park equipped with 11 entertainment facilities. One you cannot miss is Top Speed Shark Kiss, a hydro-magnetic roller coaster. You may slide past a shark while travelling in the underwater world. Children will have fun with Kids Topsy-turvy, Mini Top Spin and Mini Super Loop.

 Over the Caribbean is an outdoor water park with nine facilities. It is located at the northwest of Tianjin Happy Valley. A recommended activity in this theme park is Hurricane Loudspeaker where visitors will rotate rapidly and then drop into the eye of the hurricane.

 A raincoat and swimwear are needed for water sports.
Most activities are not suitable for those over 90kg or children below 4.6 feet (1.4m).
  From downtown
Visitors can take bus 663 or 690 to Happy Valley. They can also take metro line 2, and then transfer to bus 696 and get off at Happy Valley East Station.

 From Binhai New District
A. Take bus 118 and get off at the Huaqiaocheng Huanlegu Station. You should be aware that the bus 118 only departs from Tanggu Central Station at 07:00, 09:00, 11:30, 14:00, 16:00, and 18:00.
B. Take metro line 9 to Xinli Station and get out from the exit B. Then take bus 690 and get off at Huaqiaocheng Happy Valley Station.
