Field Trip with Year 4 students
Hello,

I am an American living in Xi'an, working as a teacher at Xi'an Hanova International School, an IB school located in Changba District. I am interested in possibly arranging a field trip to you museum for 33 students (Year 4) in January 2024. Our unit of study is about Appearances:

The Central Idea: People's outward appearance can lead to perceptions and misconceptions.

Lines of Inquiry:
• Appearance and identity
• Assumptions we make based on people's appearance
• Ways we can overcome misconceptions about appearance

Do any of the exhibits in your museum align with those concepts? Do you have any self-portraits in your museum? Do you provide tours in English? What hands-on activities could students participate in while there? I am open to your ideas and suggestions.

Hope to hear from your soon.

Kind regards,

Lindsey Burrows
