- Statistical data reveals a remarkable surge in interest in flower viewing. According to official, the online search volume for “Flower Viewing Tour” has doubled compared to previous periods. Moreover, ticket bookings for scenic spots tagged “Flower Viewing and Spring Outing” have witnessed a 35% increase.
- From early March to mid-April, Beijing and Nanjing have emerged as the top two destinations for spring outings. Beijing leads the pack, with spring outing orders skyrocketing by 114% year-on-year. Iconic sites like the Summer Palace and Beihai Park are especially popular. Nanjing, too, has seen a 20% year-on-year uptick in spring outing orders, with the plum blossoms at Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum being a current sensation.
- Thanks to the continued implementation of favorable visa policies, an increasing number of international tourists are flocking to China to “embrace spring” and “chase blossoms.” From February 26th to the end of March, the majority of inbound flower-viewing tourists hail from South Korea, the United States, Russia, Malaysia, and Canada. Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou rank among the top five most popular destinations. Xi’an, in particular, has experienced one of the fastest year-on-year growth rates in bookings.

1. Juyongguan, Beijing - Train Runs by Flower Sea
The S2 train runs by the Juyongguan Great Wall, with peach and apricot blossoms blooming on both sides, making the train seem to travel through a pink tunnel. Seen from the top of the Great Wall, the train appears to meander through a sea of pink clouds. In addition, the magnolias in the Summer Palace and the peach blossoms in Beihai Park are also worth seeing.

Plum Blossom Hill in the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum Scenic Area has approximately 35,000 plum trees of over 380 varieties and is known as the “No. One Plum Garden in China”.
