6 Days of Nanchang - Fairy Lake - Nanchang - Mt. Jinggangshan - Nanchang

On the first day, leave Nanchang for Xinyu city which lies in the middle west of Jiangxi Province and is about 180 km west of Nanchang. Take the coach at Nanchang Long-distance Coach Station (Add: No. 161, 81 Avenue, Nanchang city; Tel: 0791-626 3265) which leaves every 40 minutes from 06:30 to 18:30 daily. The coach fare is CNY55.00 per ticket. To get to the Nanchang Coach Station, you can take the bus No. 1, No. 2, No. 9, No. 11, No. 24, No. 204, No. 220. Or take the train at Nanchang railway station. There are only a few trains from Nanchang to Xinyu so you need to buy the ticket ahead of time. The Nanchang railway station is only 2 bus stops from the Long-distance Coach Station.  

Upon arrival in Xinyu, go to visit the Fairy Lake Scenic Resort, ranked the top tour attractions in Xinyu, even in Jiangxi Province, which is about 16 km from the southwest suburb of Xinyu city. The bus No. 503 will take you directly there. The Fairy Lake Scenic Resort is divided in to 5 main scenic areas: Wulong Lake, Zhongshan Valley, Qianyang Lake, Dagang Mountain, Jiulong (Nine-dragon) Bay. The scenic area is a gathering of karst caves, elegant islands and ancient towns, tombs and stone inscriptions. The admission fee is CNY155 for adults, including CNY75 for entrance, CNY30 for Shengji Temple, and CNY50 for the cruise boat. You can choose to visit these places. Return to Xinyu city in the afternoon and stay at a local hotel.

On the second day, visit the Baoshi Park. Take the bus No. 301, No. 401, No. 501, No. 502 and No. 602 to get off at Baoshi Park. The park is named after a famous Xinyu Chinese paiting master Baoshi Fu and it is located the west Jianshe Road. Strong around the park. And then enjoy some free time strolling in the city.

On the third day, highlight tour to Mt. Jinggangshan, which lies in the southwest of Jiangxi Province, 352 km away from Nanchang, the capital city of Jiangxi Province. Start from Nanchang, you can take the train N525 or N531 to stop at Jingangshan city, which takes about three and a half hours. Upon arrival at the railway station in Jinggangshan city, you need to connect the coach to Ciping borough-the central scenic area. The driving takes about one hour. The coach fare is CNY8.00. The last coach leaves at 19:30. If you miss it, you will have to take a taxi at a cost of around CNY70 or stay overnight at the city. Upon arriving at Ciping borough, find a hotel or guest house firstly and get prepared. The accommodation charge is around CNY100 to CNY300. The through ticket for all the 21 scenic spots is CNY156.00 per person and is valid in three days. If you would like to stay over 3 days there for the tour, you can go to the ticketing-window asking for the postponement.The scenic spots on Mt. Jinggangshan are a bit distributed. It is a better idea if you have made out your itinerary before your hiking. The advised itinerary is to visit by 3 days

Today, you can visit the spots in Ciping cantonal area such as the Southern Park, the Old House in Ciping Museum and the North Park including the Martyrs Mausoleum in northern mountain, Sculpture Park and Stone Tablets.

Today you can go hiking to Longtan Pond, which is 7 km from Ciping; then to Huangyangjie 17 km from Ciping; proceed to the Hundreds of Bamboo Park 7 km from Ciping where you can visit the Factory of Money Printing. Return to Ciping.

Today you can hike to to Dajing to visit the Former Residence of Zhu De and Mao Zedong which is 9 km from Ciping; proceed to Shuikou 9 km from Ciping to visit the Rainbow Waterfall.Return to Ciping and then hiking southwest to visit the Main Peak which is about 7 km from Ciping and Mt. Wuzhi just stands towards the Main Peak.

Today when you finish your hiking tour in Mt. Jinggangshan, you can return to Nanchang or leave according to your own schedule.
