How to Book and Use
After the ticket is issued, we will send you a booking No., the ticket can be collected at the ticket office at the reception. (In Chinese: 西安市长安北路75号唐乐宫剧院前台售票处)
Change & Cancellation
1. Free Change & Cancellation if sending the request by email 24 hours before the selected date.
2. The ticket is non-refundable for booking made within 24 hours.
3. After the ticket is issued, the service fee is non-refundable.
What to Expect

The Empress of the Great Tang is a Tang-style performance of song and dance staged at Tang Dynasty Palace in Xi’an. You can book the tickets to enjoy the ancient etiquette, ceremonies, music, dance and other cultural things in Tang Dynasty as well as to learn about the main activities of Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in Chinese history.

You will not distinguish between the reality and illusion it creates, for the performance presents a three-dimensional vision that allows video animation to interact with realistic performance.

You can enjoy the Dumpling Banquet before the performance, but you should pay for it and get there two hours earlier. The steamed, fried, roast, boiled dumplings, etc. will be offered. 

There is also the Royal Court Dinner one hour before the performance, which is the only Tang-style banquet in China. You can pay some extra money on it, thus you can experience the court life of the Tang Dynasty.

    It was really a great experience watching the Tang Dynasty show with a restaurant environment. The dumpling dinner was tasty enough to let go something.

    Had the dumpling menu. Really good.
    The show was fantastic - I can only recommend it if you’re in Xi’an.
    Everything is arranged for tourists/visitors, but still it is a great experience. The level of musicians and dancers is very high. Very glad we went

    The booking process was fast and easy, and the show was really worth it.
    We also asked by email for the address in chinese in order to show it to the taxi driver and Amber answered almost instantly, making it way easier for us to get there.
    Great show, don't if you visit Xi'an.
