Moscow to Novosibirsk Discovery

When you arrive at the arrival hall of Moscow airport, your guide and driver will pick you up and escort you to your downtown hotel. After settling in, you can freely arrange the rest of day. Having a good rest to recover from the jet lag and save energy for the following tours is a good choice.

In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel. With your guide and driver, you will have a glance at the impressive Red Square in bright red, the well-known Bolshoi Theatre, and popular commercial street - Tverskaya Street and then reach our first stop - Kitai-Gorod quarter, a nice walking place dotted with historical monuments and churches. Next, we will enjoy the splendid façade of Novodevichy Convent, the most famous convent in Russia that has been stood there for over 477 years. Then we will move to Victory Park, where many well-designed war monuments, built in memory of the victory of Great Patriotic War, are located. For a change, we will then climb up the Sparrow Hill to enjoy a beautiful distant view of the city, decorated with some peaceful parks and bridges. Our last stop today is VDNKH, also known as Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy. Comprising of 80 exhibition halls, it will show you the history and development of this country.

After breakfast, we'll travel to Novosibirsk by a 4-hour flight. Your guide and driver will escort you to the Moscow airport by a comfortable vehicle and see you off. On your arrival in Novosibirsk, you will be picked up and be taken to your local hotel for the check-in.

Today we will take you to visit Novosibirsk city. After breakfast, we will first head to the largest station of Trans-Siberian Railroad - Novosibirsk Railway Station. Next, we will move to Ascension Cathedral, a 110-year-old Orthodox cathedral decorated with golden domes on its white façade and beautiful frescos inside. Visiting the Krasny Prospect street, we will proceed to Lenin Square featuring the enormous statues of Lenin. Here you also see the largest theatre of Russia. After this, we will visit one of the following museums at your request: Trans-Siberian Railroad History Museum, Local Lore Museum, USSR Museum, Birch bark Museum, Local Art gallery, and Roerich Museum. Then follows an exploration of Monument of Glory, featuring many war monuments and military equipment. Greeting with the ancient structures at the Gorkogo Str., we will then pay a visit to Russia's geographic center - St. Nicolas Chapel and the fascinating banks of OB River and get close to the local lifestyle by visiting a Siberian produce market.

In the morning, we will drive about 30 minutes for exploring Akademgorodok, one of the most famous scientific town worldwide that comprising 30 comprehensive technology research institutes, covering all the branches of science. Through Vatican Lavrentiev Prospect, you will enter this unique town with your guide and greet with a famous NSU building, Techno-park building and the House of the Scientists. After the visit, we will return Novosibirsk city. Halfway, we will stop at the Ob River reservoir to take some photos of its mesmerizing scenery. During today's tour, you can also choose to visit one of the following museums: The Archeological Museum at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography, the open-air Museum of the Railway Technology collecting many old locomotives, and Geology Museum in the Institute of Geology.
