Welcome to Russia. The driver and the guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel in city center. The remaining time of the day is free for you.

Our guide will take you to explore the first stop, St. Petersburg, the Venice of the North. We'll visit Nevsky Prospect, the Kazan Cathedral, Vasilievsky Island, St. Isaac Cathedral, Peter and Paul Fortress and Palace Square in the morning. In the afternoon, continue to explore the Hermitage Museum, one of the biggest museums in the world. It houses 2.7 million items dating from Stone Age to the present. After the visit, return to the hotel.

Today we will head to visit Petrodvorets. Once named Peterhof and located on the south coast of Gulf of Finland, it is praised as Versailles in Russia. The magnificent waterscape and the splendid Grand Palace will surely amaze you. After returning to the hotel in St. Petersburg in the afternoon, enjoy some free time on your own.

In the morning, take a flight to Sochi. Upon arrival, the local guide will transfer you to the hotel and help you check in. After you get settled, we will start to explore the highlights of the city including Pushkinskaya Library, the Canon and Anchor monument, Primorskaya Hotel, one of the oldest hotels in the city built in 1930s, and the Winter Theatre, a typical Stalinist architecture. We will also visit Matsesta famous for the sulfurous springs. Then we’ll go to visit Saint Prince Vladimir Cathedral and stop for a while in Riviera Park. The last stop is Sea Port, the largest and a modern port along the Black Sea.

On the 5th day, we'll head to Krasnaya Polyana, a popular place for skiing and hiking. During the journey to Krasnaya Polyana, we will stop at the Monastyr to appreciate the Akhtsu Cave; pass through the longest underpass which is 2,420 meters (1.5 miles) long; visit Chvizhepse narzan spring where you can taste chalybeate water.

Reaching Krasnaya Polyana, we will visit a local bee farm where we can taste various honey and enjoy delicious Caucasian lunch. In Krasnaya Polyana ski-resort, we will have chance to taste the wine brewed with local herbal medicine. Take ski lift to the hilltop, we can admire the magnificent scene of west Caucasus Mountains. At the end of the day, relax in the trout fishery which is the only and the biggest trout fishery in Russia. You will see how to feed the trout and try to fish by yourself. You can also taste the fresh fish dishes.

Today you will be sent to the airport for flight to Moscow. The flight time is about 2 hours. Upon arrival, the local guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. You are free for the rest of the day.

Driving through Moscow, you will see various monuments, gardens and squares like Red Square, the Bolshoi, and Tverskaya Street. We'll visit Kitai-Gorod quarter, the exterior of Novodevichy Convent and Victory Park and take a panoramic photo of Moscow city on Sparrow Hill. Then the guide will escort you to Moscow Kremlin, the residents of Tsars. After the visit, move on to the most beautiful subway station built during Stalin period. Then, take the subway to Arbat Street, one of the existing oldest streets in the city. When today's tour ends, send you back to the hotel.

Today we'll drive to Sergiev Posad 70 kilometers (43.5 miles) away from Moscow. We'll visit Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius and its cathedrals, the religious center of Orthodox Church in Russia. We will also explore other attractions like Dormition Cathedral, the Holy Gates and the Godunov Burial Vault. Get back to the hotel in the afternoon.

Today you are free to explore Moscow city on your own. Except for Kremlin, other top attractions like State Historical Museum with collections depicting Russia history, Saint Basil's Cathedral, the masterpiece of Russian architecture, the Bolshoi Theatre and Lenin's Mausoleum are recommended.

This is the last day of the 10 days Russia tour itinerary. After breakfast and check-out, the guide and the driver will transfer you from the hotel to the airport. Wish you a pleasant journey!
