My frined and i are going to HangZhou - Shanghai - SuZhou - HZ for a week and we plan for 2 days in each city. we have questions below -

1. Our plan is HZ to SH by train D; SH to SZ by train; SZ to HZ by bus. is that is good choice in term of price and schedule
2. May i know how can we get the train D ticket in advance or e-ticket to avoid the crowd from HZ to SH.
3. any recommeded hotels - clean and safe. Our budget is around RMB 100-150 per pax per night.

The tranporation choice is good. Most D or G trains from HZ to SH will arrive in Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, only a few directly to Shanghai Railway Station, likely at 6am, 1pm and 4pm. So, if get to hongqiao Station, you should take Subway Line 2 to the city center. You can buy the ticket in the ticket office in downtown area or the train station. If you don't leave very early in the morning, no need to buy in advance. Well, you should not travel in our publich holidays also. According to the room rate, you can choose Home Inn, Jinjiang Inn. They have chains in each city.

I want to take the bus from Hanzhou to Suzhou. Where is the bus terminal, which bus number and how often does the bus leave ?

At Hangzhou East Bus Station, there are frequent coaches leaving for Suzhou Bus Sation or Suzhou North Bus Station everyday.

Hi,

I am planning go to Zhenjiang in Aug. Kindly advise me that is there any train from Hangzhou to Zhenjiang? If not, what is the best way to get there from the local airport.

Yes, trains are available. Both two railway station of Hangzhou has train schedule to reach Zhenjiang. There is also bullet train (D5472 departs at 8:19am) in the Railway Station, which cost about 3.5 hours.
