Bamboo Temple is hidden in the thick bamboo forest and said to be built during the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368).

The Bamboo Temple is a very notable Buddhist Zen temple in Yunnan. It lies on the Yu'an Mountain in the northwestern suburb of Kunming City. Ancient trees surround the temple beautifully. In the temple, there are colored arhats' statues. These statues were made in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) by the folk sculptor Li Guang and his apprentices, which took seven years in total for the whole project. Attraction Intro: Bamboo Temple

hi, we will visit Yunnan, from Kunming to Shangri-La on next last days of August. We will be 6 people: is it possible to rent a kind of car with driver to pick uo all of us ?

Yes, you could rent a small commercial vehicle i.e.Buick GL8. Very easy to find one.
