The paddling common black-headed gulls, Cuihu Lake, Kunming

The Cuihu Lake Park at the center of Kunming City, Yunnan Province consists of the Haixinting Pavilion, Shuiyuexuan House, Viewing Fish Pavilion and a large area of lake. Lush trees carpet the park. From October till February next year, thousands of common black-headed gulls fly here to layover for winter.

Hi could anyone give me recommendations for the southern part of yunnan? Planning to go to xishuangbana, want to see the elephant valley and the single tree forest. How can i book a a cabin in trees for the elephant valley? Furthermore, is there some information for menghai? I heard it should be great, but i have no idea where to go and what to do there, because of lack of information on the internet :( I would have 7 days to stay... probably its too much^^ thx david

To stay one night in the cabin in treet seems not comfortable. You can watch elephents there, but do not recommend to live in it. Menghai is a production area of Puer tea. You can visit the tea garden. Menghai also has a pass to Burma.
