Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (37)

Dujiangyan Irrigation System (19)

Built in 256 BC, the Dujiangyan Irrigation System is the world's oldest among its kind and uniquely relied upon a levee rather than a dam to facilitate navigation. It was built across the Min River to solve the frequent flooding problems in the Chengdu Plain.
