Wang's Compound is the museum of the Chinese courtyard style.
The Wang's Compound is located in Jingsheng Town, 12 kilometers east of Lingshi County, Shanxi Province. It is only 35 kilometers from Pingyao City. Many visitors think that the Compound is very big and magnificent. However, what they see just cover 25% of the total area of the compound. I want a train from Beijing soft sleeper, arriving early morning in Pingyao; and then a train leaving for Xi'an in the evening and arrving there in the early morning. Which trains really stop there? Where do I buy the tickets for soft sleepers?
If the sleepers have double hinged doors allowing access to upper and lower bunks, does this mean I can book two LOWER bunks for my friend and I, and be fairly much separated from the two upper bunks? We need to be clear on all of this and book it before we leave Australia.

150ReplyIn that case, u can first take the train 1163 from Beijing West Railway Station to Pingywao and then take 1095 departing at 20:42 to Xi'an. And there is no need for you to go to Taiyuan to take the train. For the soft sleeper tickets, you can make an online booking. If you need the two soft sleepers in the same compartment, you can fill in such requests when submitting the inquiry form, and they will try their best to meet your needs.

150Replythe train tickets need to be bought in person. You may try the travel agencies or buy them yourselves after your arrival. the train tickets can not be prebooked.
