This part of residential area, Zhujiajiao in Shanghai, remains quiet and peaceful though the water town has become an attraction.

Zhujiajiao is a folding fan shaped town, laid among gleaming lakes and rolling hills. It was once a flourishing town well-known for its fabric and cloth industry. At the end of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the beginning of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), this place become a rich town, abundant in rice, with busy long streets full of shops. Hi. How to arrive from the new metro station to the entrance of the Zhujiajiao Old Town?

Which exit if the metro station is more convenient?

You are advised to get from Zhujiajiao Metro Station, Exit 1.Then you can walk north around 400 meters to arrive at the old town.

Gauti, you can find no. 983 bus on the Baihualu. Please take it to get off at Puanluyanandonglu (普安路延安东路). Get to the other side of the road and take Huzhu Express line to reach Zhujiajiao. It takes around 3 hours.

Gauti, the bus station is located in the middle of Baihua Road. You should take the one from Jinyangxincun (金杨新村) to Puanluyanandonglu (普安路延安东路).

Do Bus from Shanghai Zoo goes to Zhujiajiao Water Town?

Hello All,
Is it possible that i can take a Pink colour bus from Shanghai zoo to go to Zhujiajiao Water Town. I was being said its the same bus that leaves from People square road? Can you please let me know as i am planning to go? If yes can you please let me know when this buses are usually available at this place?

Yes, you can take that pink bus (Huzhu Line) to Zhujiajiao. Some people said that the bus didn't stop at the bus station regularly. So you should wave your hand to tell the driver that you want to get on when you see the bus. It costs around CNY 9.

Yogesh, you didn't tell where you stay. So I just recommend a route. You can take subway line 2 to reach Xujingdong station. There you can take Zhuxu Line (Zhujiajiao-Xujing). It takes around 1 hour and 10 minutes. However, it may take longer (1 hour and 45 minutes) because of the traffic jam.

From the hotel, you can take a taxi to Laochengdu Road Yan'an Road and take Huzhu Special Line there, then get off at the last station. The bus goese to the town from 7:00 and 17:45 in every 10 minutes, and returns from 5:50 to 17:15.
