Chinese Calligraphy can be traced back to the Shang Dynasty (17th-11th Century BC). It matured in Eastern Zhou Dynasty Western Zhou (1046-771BC). In later dynasties, new skills as well as updated artistic conceptions were added to the calligraphy.
