I am planing to visit XIAN at the first 2 weeks of december;
Will it be snowing? how cold will it be over there?
I am looking for good steak house or sea food resturant/buffet and how much aproximatly does it cost per meal (It's my first visit to china).
What about shopping centers?
What about safety, is it a safe city? can hang around safetly?

00ReplyFirstly, it is safe to come to Xi'an. The locals are friendly and you may also find many foreigners.
As for the weather, Dec is already very cold in Xi'an that the average temperature during daytime is 10C at most. Snow may happen in the middle Dec, sometimes close to the Christmas.
There are several good western restaurants here, such as the LaSeine Restaurant Franca, St. Louis Portugal Restaurant, Zunpin BeefSteak and Bull Fighter, where you could have nice steak and seafood. On the other hand, these buffet restaurants of star-rated hotels do have good steak and seafood, such as Shangri-La, Hyatt and Renmin Square. The fare may vary from CNY80 to CNY300 per person.
As for shopping, you could find as many as good department stores around the Bell Tower, the center of Xi'an City. There are luxurious Zhongda International & Century Ginwa Shopping Center, the fashion Parkson & Inntime and the local popular Kaiyuan Shopping Center and Minsheng Department Store.
