Pit 3 Pictures
Pit 3 of the Qin Terracotta Army Museum is situated about 25 meters to the north of western end of Pit 1. It is a concave structure covering an area of 520 square meters. Since there is no combat formation in Pit 3 but only 68 warriors and one chariot, archeology experts speculate that it is very likely to be the command post for the whole army.

Questions & Answers on Pit 3 Pictures

I have a stopover for 5-6 hours en route to Lanzhou from Nanjing. Is there enough time for me to leave my bag in storage in the airport and see the terracotta warriors, before boarding my plane again later in the evening? How would I go about doing this? Thanks.

I don't think you will have enough time to visit the terracotta wrriors. The museum is located far from the airport, which will take you 1.5 hours to get there by car. Please just stay at the airport!
