2012 Xi'an City Wall Lantern Festival Pictures
The Lantern Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday, falling on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. It is custom to eat Yuan Xiao and enjoy displayed colorful lanterns during this festival. On this festival night, Xi'an hold lantern fair on the City Wall to exhibit many gaily decorated lanterns. ReplyHi, our family of 8 (teenages to adults) will arrive Xi'an 9pm. What is the average cost by taxi to Bell Tower Hotel? Does the Airport have combi van taxi which can take up to 8 passengers? If yes, do I have to book it in advance? Which is cheaper? 2 taxis, or 1 combi van.
Separately, in the city, to board bus 306 to Terracotta Warrior site, do we have to purchase the bus ticket in advance, or does the bus operator run a queue system, meaning first come first serve.

1. You can take the shuttle bus from the airport to Bell Tower and then shift to taxi to the hotel. If you do so, the bus will cost you 27RMB/person and the taxi will cost no more than 10RMB/car.
2. The tickets of 306 bus can be bought on board. please just get on the bus first.

90ReplyI think it is difficult to hire a van when you arrive at the airport. Actually, you could take the shuttel bus Line 1 to reach its terminal close to the Bell Tower. After getting off the bus, please walk towards the Bell Tower, you could find the hotel in 2 minutes.
306 is also a regular city-bus which means that you could purchase the ticket on the bus.

60Replyit will take you 21 hours by train.you have tow choices:1.1151/1154 from hangzhou 12：50 start, arrive Xi'an next 09：58.

00Replyby air: Beijing capital airport--Xianyang International airport. Then you can take coach to the city downtown.
by train：Beijing capital airport to Beijing West train station(xi ke zhan) by coach or taxi. Then you can take train to reach the destination city. It will cost you about 11 hours.
