The Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses in Xuzhou are not only an ancient art treasure, but also evidence that it was a town of military importance. The museum consists of four pits. The statues in Pits No.1, No.2 and No.3 can be divided into two groups: standing infantry array and crouching chariots warriors; Pit No.4 only comprises 14 standing ceremonial infantry statues and symbolic wood weapons and shields.
