The Dazhao Temple is the first lamasery constructed in Hohhot, the history of which could be traced back to the later Ming Dynasty. In the Qing Dynasty, the Emperor Kangxi visited this temple and remained for several days. Is their an airport near Hubbot? Are there flights from ulan bataar? or is there only trains from UB?

Hohhot Baita (White Pagoda) Airport is located east of the city, 14.3km (8.9 miles) from downtown. Ulan Bator Airport, the largest international air facility in China, 14km southwest of Ulan Bator City. There are flights, trains and buses from UB.

Is mid-April a good time to visit Hohhot?
It will be my first trip to China & I want to spend 2 days and 1 night in Hohhot around 15th April. Please reply if it is a good time? Someone told me to delay my trip till June-July. Since I cannot do it, the option is either to go there in April or do not visit at all. If I do not go there, I will go to Lijiang instead.
Please give your suggestions.

Mid-April may not be a good time. The good time is from June to October.

hi
i will be in wuhan befor going on a yangtze cruise
can anyone tell me what the weather is lik begining of june is the a lot of rain and if so is it constant rain or showers

Not a lot of rain in the early June although it may occur sometimes. The city should be very humid hot during that time, so please protect you from the sun radiation
