Pictures of Hutong Tours
Rickshaws and rickshaw men are also becoming remarkable name cards of Beijing's hutong tour.
The Hutong, a small street or lane between two countyards, is a unique form of community that exists only in China. If you are fed up with high buildings and wide streets, you can choose to enter these narrow lanes in Beijing then. Here, you will find 'Hutong and Courtyard Culture'. There are thousands of these kinds of lanes in Beijing City. Most of them were built in the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties (1271-1911). Attraction Intro: Beijing Hutong

Oh, you are strongly recommended to experience the rickshaws. Man-powered rickshaws are available in Shichahai Area. You can easily find one. Don't worry. If you would like to make a night stay in the Shichahai Area, there are many local courtyards providing accommodations to visitors. Have fun and enjoy your Hutong tour!

I found some information online that someone spent around CNY80 - 100 for half an hour traveling in Hutong by rickshaw. And you can bargain with the wheeler for a lower fee. Hope to be helpful.

You can bargain. I went to Houhai area and asked for a trip from a rickshaw owner. He asked for a price of 80RMB per person for nearly a hour trip. I and My friend didn't take it. No bargain space that time.

I am arriving to Terminal 2 of Beijing Capital International airport and have to change for Terminal 3. How far are these terminals from each other? Can I use the light train line for this transfer? Is there a timetable for connections between these terminals? Thanks a lot.

There is convenient free van in the terminal every a few minutes shuttling among terminals. It will take you to T3 within 20 minutes. Get off the arrival hall of T2 you can see the van.
