In the morning, our guide will meet you in the hotel lobby during 08:50 - 09:40. After that, we will set out this 1-day Hong Kong group tour to Lantau Island on a 30-minute ride. En route, we will across the Tsing Ma Bridge, which stretches for 2.16 kilometers (1.34 miles) over the Ma Wan Channel.

Upon arrival, you will take the famous Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car to the peak. The round-trip cable car fare for a standard cabin is included in our price. After alighting from the cable car, our guide will accompany you to the Po Lin Monastery and also to have a close look at the Tian Tan Buddha. At noon, we will arrange a vegetarian lunch at the monastery and then continue our Hong Kong one day group trip to an original fishing village - Tai O. You will get a chance to see local stilt houses on the water by skiff. The last destination of today's Hong Kong group tour package is Ngong Ping Village. If you are interested, you can buy some handicrafts there as souvenirs.

  The name 'Ngong Ping 360' consists of the Ngong Ping Plateau and the 360-degree natural scenery you can view when taking the cable car. During the 25 minutes' cable car journey, you will have a full view of Lantau Island and Hong Kong International Airport, and also the giant Tian Tan Buddha. On the plateau, the cultural and business block of Ngong Ping Village, brimming with traditional Chinese buildings, diverse handicrafts, and entertainment facilities, can offer you a lovely recreational experience. With a history of around 100 years, the Po Lin Monastery tops the four most prosperous Buddhist temples in Hong Kong. It is renowned for housing the world's largest outdoor bronze statue of the sitting Buddha - Tian Tan Buddha, which has a height of 34 meters (112 feet) including the lotus seat at the bottom. Visitors need to climb over 268 steps to have a closer appreciation. Additionally, the temple possesses architectural features of typical Chinese gardens. You can enjoy a delightful scenery of luxury buildings, shaded by lush trees and set off by booming flowers at every corner of the temple.
  The Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car might get cancelled because of bad weather conditions or other security concerns. If that happens, we will take other vehicles to and from Ngong Ping and the fare will stay the same.
