Hangzhou Maps
Located in the northwest of Zhejiang Province and on the south edge of the Yangtze River Delta, Hangzhou faces the Hangzhou Bay on the east, adjoins Jinhua and Shaoxing on the south, neighbors Huzhou and Jiaixng on the north and borders Anhui Province on the west.
In this map, you can see the Qiantang Jiang River flows through most areas of the city. The famous Jinghang Yunhe (Jinghang Grand Canal) crosses the city from north to east and finally flows into the Qiantang Jiang River. Abundant rivers form a crisscross river network. That makes Hangzhou take on the characteristics of the South China water towns.
In the map, tourist attractions are labeled in red. The Xi Hu Lake (West Lake) covers a large area of the city. Around the lake, many sights can be found. The Qiantang Jiang River is spanned by bridges, such as Pengbu Bridge, Xixing Bridge, Fuxing Bridge and Qiantangjiang Bridge. Very clearly, you can find the southern bank is more prosperous than the northern bank. Hospitals, schools, hotels and places of interest mainly distribute on the southern bank. The Provincial Government and the Municipal Government are located to the north of the West Lake and they are not far from each other.
