Day 1 Arrival in Bishkek, Airport pick-up
Welcome to Kyrgyzstan, the mountainous country of Central Asia. The guide and the driver will pick you up at Bishkek International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. Have lunch or dinner depending on the arrival time. If you arrive early, our guide will accompany you to visit the Old Square and start Bishkek city tour. We’ll travel through the Oak Park to Ala-Too Square, and finally visit the outside of Kyrgyz National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Abdylas Maldybayev.

Day 2 Visit Burana Tower, Drive 3h to Kochkor
Today the guide and the driver will take you to Burana Tower about 80 km (50 mi) east of Bishkek. You can climb up to the tower top to appreciate the beautiful grassland scenery. Next, drive 3 hours to Kochkor village. The guide will take you to Altyn Kol, the store famous for its handmade product, and the local market to learn the customs and lifestyle. If you want to look around this village, the guide is always at your service.

Day 3 Explore Song Kol Lake
Today we'll start to explore Song Kol Lake with an altitude of 3,016 meters (9,895 feet). On the way we'll pass by the Kalmak Ashuu pass with an altitude of 3,446 meters (11,305 feet). After arrival, you can enjoy your free time with herds of cattle and sheep on the verdant alpine pasture bordering the picturesque Song Kol Lake and snow-capped mountains. If the weather is good, you can see charming sunset and the shining starry sky.

Day 4 Tour around the south shore of Issyk-Kul Lake
After breakfast, we'll head to Issyk-Kul Lake, the second biggest mountain lake in the world. It is also called the hot lake since it isn't frozen up throughout the year. After driving for 4.5 hours, we'll arrive at Kyzyl-Tuu village where we will have lunch and can see the materials and decorations used for setting up a yurt. The next stop is Bokonbayevo. Here we can see Golden Eagle and know how the locals raise and train eagles. Afterwards, we'll check in at today's yurt hotel – Royal Gate. Take a visit to Canyon Fairy Tale after dinner time.

Day 5 Drive to Karakol & Jeti-Oguz Canyon
Today the guide and the driver will take you to Karakol. On the way we'll hike or drive through Juuku Valley. At the end of the valley, there is a hot spring and we can have a hot bath. Before arriving in Karakol, we will go to the famous scenic spot in a valley on the south side of Issyk-Kul Lake, Jeti-Oguz Canyon, to see the "Seven Bulls Rocks" and the "Broken Heart".

Day 6 Half day Karakol tour with Karakol National Park
Karakol is the largest city in Issyk-Kul province. Today the guide will first take you to visit the Russian Orthodox Church and Dungan Mosque to learn about the religious culture here. Then we’ll go to Karakol National Park for hiking and have a picnic lunch here.

Tip: Every Sunday morning, the local animal market gathers many Kyrgyz who come to buy and sell livestock. If it happens on a Sunday, the guide could lead you to have a visit to the market in the early morning.

Day 7 Adventure in the north shore of Issyk-Kul Lake
Leaving Karakol, we'll head to the north bank of Issyk-Kul Lake. After 2 hours, we'll arrive at Grigoryevka gorge and have a 1-hour hiking tour here. The next stop is the famous Cholpon Ata resort. There are beautiful beaches for leisure and sunbath. The nearby open-air Museum of Petroglyphs also deserves your visit. Some researchers believe that here may be the sacrifice place of an ancient tribe.

Day 8 Drive back to Bishkek
On the 8th day, the guide will drive you back to Bishkek. Stop at Sary-Oi to visit the New Nomad Museum to learn the local life and customs of nomads. Then we'll drive through the Boom gorge, and arrive at Bishkek in the afternoon.

Day 9 Bishkek departure, Airport see-off
Today our 9 days Kyrgyzstan tour package ends. You will say goodbye to Kyrgyzstan. The guide and the driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby and send you to the airport.
