Clothes to Wear in Japan in July

Breathable summer clothes are optimal while travelling in Japan in July, as the humidity is pretty high especially in the rainy season. T-shirt, short shirt, light pants, cropped pants, long dress, etc. are all proper. As in rainy season, you can take a portable umbrella or raincoat with you. Sunglasses and sunhat are also needful when there is no rain.

Mt. Fuji Mountaineering (4 star)

The climbing trails on Mt. Fuji are opened since early July, which allows mountaineers to hike up to the summit crater. Yoshida Trail starting from Mt. Fuji 5th Station is the most-visited trail on the north side of the mountain, well-facilitied. You should prepare thick clothes to wear as climbing high onto Mt. Fuji, and make complete preparation to cope with possible problems such as altitude sickness.

However, as the beginning of the two-month climbing season, July is not the best time for mountaineering for the rains. When the rainy season is over, the peak time of climbing Mt. Fuji comes.

 Although the rainy season is drawing to a close in Japan in July, it is necessary to take rain gear like umbrella and raincoat with you. Sunscreen is also indispensable on the summer days.
 When you are in the site of a summer firework show, you would find there are many visitors. Take care of yourselves and find a good spot to see the firework show as early as possible.
