Hi everyone, I'm Nancy Mao, a kind, warm-hearted, happy girl from Shangnan, a small town located in the southeast of Shaanxi Province. In my spare time I like cooking, reading, watching movies, and shopping.

Let me first introduce my hometown, a very charming place with beautiful mountains and clear waters all around. There is a very famous attraction named Gold Grand Canyon in my hometown. Gold Grand Canyon is famous for its magnificent, peculiar gorges and fascinating waterfalls, and thousands of tourists come from all over the world to visit the beautiful natural scene every year. Thanks to the speedy developments in tourism, my hometown’s economy has increased. More and more people are getting to know about it.

In 2010, I went to Xi'an to further my study. Before entering University, my elder sister said to me that “Travel more; it’s even more significant and important than your study.” As everyone knows, Xi'an is a very charming city with a long history and profound culture. True enough, I have left my footprints in every featured spots in Xi'an during my four years in the University.  I have also visited other cities and attractions like Pingyao Ancient Town in Shanxi Province, the Zhangjiajie National Forestry Park in Hunan province, the Window of the World in Shenzhen, the Bund and the Oriental Pearl Television Tower in Shanghai, the Humble Administrator's Garden of Suzhou, and so on. Having met some wonderful people and having had amazing experiences has broadened my horizons, and enriched my life tremendously.

After graduating from Xi'an International Studies University in July 2014, I was fortunate enough to join the TravelChinaGuide team, and am happy and honored to occupy a professional position as a travel consultant, a profession which I truly love from the bottom of my heart. As an unsophisticated freshman, I have to say that this job challenged me a lot in the beginning. I still remember clearly the first call I made to my client, I was so nervous and excited that could not complete the sentence smoothly. My colleagues, who are so enthusiastic and conscientious, helped me a lot and never hesitated to teach me everything they knew, and I overcame my nervousness in no time.  Now, through months of hard work, not only am I more capable in my job, my interpersonal skills have improved a lot also. I work with a great team! However, every day brings a new challenge for me, and I will keep learning to improve myself and I hope that I can help my valued clients in every aspect, and make their trips to China memorable and worry-free. Being helpful to my clients is my main goal, and it is the clients' satisfaction that gives me the maximum affirmation and motivation. I will keep striving to do better in the future.
