China Visa Application in UK

 Great News! The online visa processing system has been operated since March 28, 2025. Applicants can now upload their application materials online and add additional documents at any time. After the initial review, they can walk in the visa center and submit applications.

 Main China Visa Types       
 2025 Holidays of Embassy/Consulates/CVASC in UK 
 

1. Prepare visa application materials.
2. Complete the visa application form online and upload materials online using the online visa processing system. The CVASC may ask for additional materials at any time, so applicants need to check the "Application Progress Inquiry" section to stay updated on the progress.
3. Wait for the initial review to pass. Applicants will recieve a confirmation email and the application status will be "Passport to be Submitted".
4. Go to the CVASC, submit your application materials and pay the fees. 
5. If your fingerprints are required, the visa center will collect your fingerprints.
6. Pick up your passport on the scheduled collection day.
7. If you apply for the mail back service, you need to fill the Payment Authorization Form (which can be downloaded from Center's web). Pay the postal fee afterward and leave your mail address. 

 Note
1. All applicants aged 14-70 are required to submit the application in person. 
2. Applicants applying for HK / Macau visa  or holding official, diplomatic or service passport cannot use the online visa processing system.

 Notes:
1. The visa fees listed above is the total fee, itemised as: visa fees + application service fees (VAT inclusive)
2. The regular processing time is 4 working days; express service takes 3 working days. For urgent cases, the express service is available for applicants who submit their applications directly to the center before 11:00 at noon, Monday to Friday.
