Important Notice

Diplomatic, service or official passports holders shall submit applications directly to the Chinese Consulate General in Lagos.

Applicants who apply for visas for Hong Kong/Macau SAR, are not required to fill the online application forms, and they can either choose to submit applications via China Visa Application Center, or to Immigration Department of Hong Kong directly.

Passport with fake Chinese Visa or entry and exit stamp on it will be handed over to the Police and the passport holder will be refused entry into China permanently.

Please be advised to make sure that the application form is completely filled out, otherwise your application may be delayed or even rejected. Photocopy of the application form is acceptable.

Inquiry for invitation letter and passport

I want to apply for Bussiness visa to attend 2024 aromatherapy show shanghai but I don't know how to get invitation letter and my passport will be expiring by 30th October 2024 can I use this one or obtain another passport

You need a new passport because the validity is no more than 6 months. About the invitation letter, maybe you can contact the host of the show for help. But I think a tourist L visa also work if you don't actually do business in China, just attend a show.

Caught working entrepreneurship visa

after my graduation in china in 2018 i applied and got entrepreneurship visa which i used for business purpose. also, i sometimes teach at my Chinese friend's kindergarten to keep me busy, and then i got caught at the kindergarten on a faithful day, which led me to spend 10 days in the detention and which after i was forced to leave china in 2019. Although nothing was stamped on my passport, do you think there is a restriction on my passport, if yes how long will it take before i will be allowed back in china? thanks

It is hard to say and there is no specific rule about that. You can try to apply for a visa and see if it is still affected.

Transit visa at Hong Kong Airport

I'm traveling to Melbourne Australia and will be passing through the Hong Kong International Airport. Do I need a transit visa as a Nigerian?

I'm afraid yes, you do need to obtain a visa in advance.

I will be attending the 2023 WIFFA Annual Convention and Cargo Freight Fair on 6-8 November,2023, in Shanghai China on behalf of my company.

Please what type of visa do I apply for, since I could not see “Business visa” category on your website?

You do need to apply for a Business visa (M visa). You can browse in the official website of China visa application center ( visaforchina.org) for more information.

I want to know the required documents I’ll need for my x2 visa , i want to study Chinese language . The agents I’m contacting are charging me a lot and I know it’s something I can do myself . My sponsor doesn’t have the same surname with me but he can give me his bank statements and sponsorship letter . Please I need your help

The requirements for a X2 visa include the applicant's passport, application form, recent photo and most importantly, the admission notice of the China university or school.
