Notices
Chinese citizens with valid passport can go to Egyptian embassy or consulate in China to apply for a visa. The main visa categories are the following:
Tourist Visa: single entry or multiple entries, with the validity of three months.
Entry Visa: is issued to Chinese citizens going  for work, study. Thenthey can easily get a Long-Term Resident Visa from the Immigration Bureau after entry.
Transit Visa: is valid for only seven days. 

Notices for Entry
1. The immigrants and emigrants can only take 1,000 Egyptian Pounds at most with themselves.
2. The entering or exiting channel of Cairo International Airport has Red Channel (Need Customs Declaration) and Green Channel (No Need Customs Declaration).
3. The Egyptian Government strictly prohibits the entry of drugs.
