Mazu Beigan Airport
Beigan Airport also serves as both civil airport and heliport. It has a runway of 1,150 meters (1258 yards).

Beigan Airport has opened one air route to Taipei Songshan Airport. There is one flight on each Tue. Fri. Sat. and Sun., which takes off at 08:15 and lands at 09:05. And there are two flights on each Mon, Wed, Thurs taking off at 08:15 & 11:40 and landing at 09:05 & 12:30 respectively.
1: Daqiu Island
Situated at the north of the Beigan Island, Daqiu Island was garrisoned by the army, and currently is an uninhabited island. There is an ecological trail of 400-500 meters (437-547 yards) long where you can not only see wild sika deer and the scene of military facilities, but also has a good view of the coastal terrain. At present, there is no regular flights landing on the island. If you want to go sightseeing, you can participate in gull-watching activities in summer. The chance to visit the island will depend on the weather conditions.
2: Qinbi Settlement
Located in Qinbi Village, Beigan Township, Qinbi Settlement is the most well-preserved village among the ancient settlements of Mazu. It is honored as the "Mediterranean of Mazu" due to its red stone houses and the view of blue sea, which attracts thousands of tourists. The left empty houses due to population migration has been rebuilt into guesthouses and cultural innovation parks, showing a new luster of the ancient village. It has not only the legend of the "armored general", but also the story of the pirate house, which is worth looking for.
3: War and Peace Memorial Park
This park is located in Houwo Village, Beigan Township, and represents the first park in Taiwan designed with the concept of "military and peace". There are heavy weapons such as anti-aircraft guns, trucks, chariots and so on. Various war relics are displayed in the exhibition hall and all these exhibits were actually used in wartime. Military fans can not miss this attractions.
4: Dongyin Lighthouse
Dongyin Lighthouse is located in Lehua Village, Dongyin Township. During the reign of emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1636-1912), the Treaty of Shimonoseki opened Mawei as a treaty port, so British designed and built the lighthouse to guide the ships. Till now, the lighthouse has been in service for more than 100 years and it is the only British building in Mazu Islands.
5: Mazu's Residence
Located in Xianliang Port, Shanting Town, Xiuyu District, Putian City, Mazu's Residence is a traditional folk courtyard in Putian, where Mazu, named Linmo, lived with her parents, brother and sister. It had undergone several reconstructions in Song (960-1279), Yuan (1271-1368) and Ming dynasties (1368-1644). It was burned in Qing Dynasty (1636-1912) and rebuilt in 2001 again. Now, it restores Mazu's living environment, including Mazu's bedroom, brother and sister-in-law's bedroom, weaving machine room, pharmaceutical room, etc., which has become another tourist attraction of the hometown of Mazu.
