Yibin Wuliangye Airport

Although the major buildings of Yibin Wuliangye Airport have been completed and it was qualified to open flights at July, 2019, when it will be put into use is still uncertain for there is no exact statement from official side. If it opens flights, Yibin Caiba Airport will be replaced.
 

Yinbin Wuliangye Airport will stand in Zongchang Town, Cuiping District, Yibin City, Sichuan Province. The site will be about 11 kilometers (7 miles) from downtown Yibin.
 

There will be one terminal with two levels covering 24,000 square meters which can meet the annual passenger throughput of 2,000,000. The ground floor will be arrivals hall while the second floor will be departures hall.
 

On the basis of the existing more than 20 flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Xi’an, Xiamen, Qingdao, Kunming, Lhasa, Guiyang, Lijiang, Wuhan, Nanjing, Changsha, Nanning, Sanya, Guilin…operated by Caiba Airport, flights to domestic cities like Zhuhai and Tianjin and international destinations such as Los Angeles, Paris, Bangkok, Vancouver, Sydney, Munich and Dubai will be added step by step when Wuliangye Airport comes into service. The airport will benefit people who want to visit Shunan Bamboo Sea, Shihai Dongxiang, Old Town of Lizhuang, Qidonggou and other scenic areas a lot.
 

  Step 1: Fly to Yibin Caiba Airport
Yinbin Caiba Airport is about 8 kilometers (about 5 miles) from downtown Yibin, which has cooperated with Sichuan Airlines (3U), China Express (G5), China Airlines (CI), Shandong Airlines (SC), Tibet Airlines (TV), Shenzhen Airlines (ZH), China Eastern Airlines (MU), Kunming Airlines (KY), Colorful Guizhou Airlines (GY) to run more than 20 domestic flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Xi’an, Xiamen, Qingdao, Kunming, Lhasa, Guiyang, Lijiang, Wuhan, Nanjing, Changsha, Nanning, Sanya, Guilin…

 Step 2: Travel between Caiba Airport and Downtown
After arriving at Yinbin Caiba Airport, you can take airport shuttle bus line, Airport – Minhang Community, to downtown Yibin directly. The shuttle bus route goes like:
Route before 19:00: Airport – Lianglu Bridge – Liya Dragon City – Luneng Shenghuo Square – Minhang Community
Route after 19:00: Airport – Lianglu Bridge – Xijiao – No. 1 Hospital – Daguanlou – Nanmen Bridge – Nanan China Construction Bank – Minhang Community
 
There is also city bus line 8 available if you intend to go to downtown Yibin directly from the airport. Or you can also take a taxi, which will cost you about 30 minutes and cost around CNY 50.
 

 Step 1
Yibin West Railway Station is a comprehensive transportation terminal mainly operating High-speed trains and integrating long-distance bus and city bus as well. You can get from Chengdu, Deyang, Jiangyou…or take long-distance bus from Nanxi, Junlian, Gao County, Xingwen, Luzhou, Changning, Yongxu, Kangding, Kunming… to Yibin West High-speed Railway Station.
 
 Step 2
When you are at Yibin West Railway Station, you can transfer to city bus 17: West Railway Station – Xihua University, bus line 18:West Railway Station – Daguanlou, bus line 31: West Railway Station – Huanqiu Group, bus line 42: West Railway Station – Xiangxieli, bus line 43: West Railway Station – Yibin Railway Station, bus line 45: West Railway Station – Lizhuang, bus line 46: West Railway Station – Jintai Street to downtown Yibin.
